Study: Parents want bullying policies to address weight

A recent study conducted by the University of Connecticut’s Rudd Center for Food Policy found that the majority of parents support incorporating weight into anti-bullying policies on the school, state, and federal levels. While every state has an anti-bullying law, currently only three of those include body weight as a characteristic that puts kids at risk for harassment.
