Report: Bullying Is a Serious Public Health Problem

A report released by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine stated that bullying should no longer be dismissed as merely a matter of kids being kids. The report also stated that schools should end zero-tolerance policies that automatically suspend students for bullying, as there is no evidence that they are impactful in a positive way.
